It’s time to Elevate!

We are so excited to officially launch Elevate GM! And even more excited to do so having secured deals to work with Bruntwood Works, Use.Space and the Female Hospitality Network.

Co-founders Katie Robson and Ilona Alcock were both made redundant during the pandemic and spotted an opportunity to provide bespoke support to businesses navigating the post-COVID world.

From inception, Elevate GM has been well received by the business community and has been confirmed to provide content for the GM Green Summit, being held online next week. Sessions include an interview with Use.Space strategic director, John Whalley, and a roundtable of leading businesses including Kuits Solicitors, Grayling Communications, YPO, Slalom and Mark Bratt Travel.

A number of businesses have expressed interest in working closely with Elevate GM and deals have already been agreed with Bruntwood Works, Use.Space and the Female Hospitality Network.

On their reception in the region, Katie said: “We have such an incredible network in the region and we’re overwhelmed by the messages of support and recommendations for new roles. However, we saw so many of the companies we know well seeking a more bespoke approach and knew we could deliver real value.”

Ilona added: “Elevate GM is closely aligned to the Local Industrial Strategy and we’re excited to deliver weekly sector-focused events. We were hugely inspired by the #BuildBackBetter campaign and are keen to support the city region as it recovers. Our first webinar features one of the hardest hit sectors, hospitality, and will be hosted by Ducie Street Warehouse.”
