Elevate Elves Assemble

The John Lewis advert is out, and the Wood Street Mission shop is open! It’s officially the run-up to Christmas.

We are working with the lovely Wood Street Mission to help them collect Toys for the Children of low-income families.

The Wood Street Mission Christmas campaign has been massively impacted due to office closures and instead people going online for their gift buying.

Wood Street Mission already have several ways for people to help, including cash donations and Amazon Wish Lists. However, we wanted to add another option, to make it as easy as possible for people to donate toys.

Elevate Elves Assemble…on the 25th of November a team of Christmas clad volunteers will be available to collect toys from your home address (all from a safe distance) around Greater Manchester.

We know lots of people will be placing lots of orders, especially with Black Friday starting earlier. If you can pop an additional toy to your haul, we will collect it and take it directly to the Wood Street Mission shop at the Great Northern.

The areas we currently have covered include the following:

  • Hale/Altrincham/Sale
  • City Centre/ Chorlton
  • Didsbury (East & West) /Burnage/ Withington
  • Urmston/Flixton/Stretford
  • Wilmslow/ Alderley Edge/ Mobberley
  • Rochdale/Rawtenstall

If you would like to arrange for a gift to be collected, please email Katie for more information.

Let us know if the area you live in is not listed, but you have a toy that you would like to be collected.

We know this year is going to be a tough one for so many reasons. Even if you are unable to donate this year, spreading the word with colleagues/clients/ friends it would be so helpful.
