Testimonials
“After joining a growing business as the sole HR professional, I was asked if I would be interested in joining the peer networking programme. I jumped at the opportunity. Being able to meet people from different businesses and get their advice and tap into their knowledge and experience really helped in making that transition from a large organisation with a large team to a small business, where there are two of us in the department. The advice my peers provided me was great and I really enjoyed being able to talk through different scenarios and bounce ideas off each other. I looked forward to these sessions as it allowed me that time to build my network and share experiences with others in similar situations to myself.”
“I found Peer Networks extremely valuable, there were a number of ideas & scenarios I wanted an honest second opinion on and that was provided at Peer Networks. I also enjoyed being able to share our own experiences with the other business leaders and help them where possible. The sessions were facilitated very well by Katie, I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to give it a go, especially in the recent climate it was a nice change to other online formats I’ve tried.”
“Peer networks has been excellent for me personally and for my business Gooey! There have been numerous introductions made, we’ve received grant funding we wouldn’t have known about, I’ve expanded my professional network and we are now utilising some more niche advice services through the business growth hub, thanks to peer network.
I enjoyed catching up with a friendly group of peers every week, and having the opportunity to talk openly about the issues you face day to day is weirdly calming. It’s also great to offer help and advice others and you realise you’re in the same boat as others.
Katie was a joy to work with and went above and beyond to provide value outside of the contact time week to week. I’d recommend anybody to join these sessions with an open mind and give them a go.”
