So far in my career, I have been in roles where it’s the people you know that help you to elevate yourself and get you to where you need to be. So for me, elevating myself is about constantly growing and helping my network and learning from mentors and role models in similar roles to me who have “been there, done that”.
I also think it is key to always work on being a better version of yourself and taking those opportunities when they arise, even if they scare you a little bit! I try to enjoy and trust the process rather than just focusing on one end goal or whether I will succeed.
Elevate Your Business
For me, elevating your business has to be about exploring new ways of doing things, taking risks, and being creative. I am also learning that it is SO important to remember to always stick to your values. It sounds corny but customers can smell BS from a mile away and it will enable your brand / business to cut through the noise and stand out from the crowd!
Elevate the North
The mission of Bruntwood is to create thriving cities and this is a huge passion of mine too. I grew up in the countryside so living and working in these big cities is still so exciting to me, despite having done so for nearly 10 years! I love the buzz that exists in a city, especially the Northern ones. But this buzz only happens when businesses are thriving and life is good! So elevating the cities of the North is hugely important to me and something I can’t wait to be part of in this new role!
Rosie is the Business Development and Support Manager for Bruntwood Works. Covering Manchester, Birmingham, Liverpool and Leeds, she will attending networking events, building relationships with current and potential Bruntwood customers, as well as becoming a key part in the delivery of Spark, Bruntwood’s exclusive business support programme.
