We’re thrilled to announce the return of the Northern Sustainability Summit (NSS) for 2025, our third year championing sustainable innovation across the North!
From humble beginnings to a thriving platform for change, NSS has grown into one of the North’s most exciting sustainability events. In 2024, NSS attracted over 850 registrations, hosted 45 innovative exhibitors, and delivered a packed programme featuring main stage talks, hands-on workshops, and targeted breakout sessions. A room filled with business leaders, changemakers, and pioneers, all united by a shared commitment to building a more sustainable future. From industry giants to grassroots innovators, our audience represented a rich mix of sectors, experience levels, and bold ideas.
At the heart of NSS is a clear mission: to drive real, lasting change by creating space for collaboration, sparking innovation, and amplifying voices that are shaping the future of sustainability.
Supporting Small Businesses… Because We’ve Been There Too
As a small business ourselves, we know how tough it can be to get your voice heard. That’s why we're passionate about lifting up other small and scaling businesses that are doing great things in the sustainability space. With the support of our longtime partner Manchester Central – who backed us through their incubator programme in our first and second years – we're paying it forward.
We’re once again offering ten free exhibition stands to small businesses based in the North who are developing sustainable products, services, or solutions. Previous winners have included inspiring names like CorkSol, Mattify, REACT-XR, The Carbon Literacy Project, Really Recycle, Fungall, Twisted Loom, and Renew Hub.
