Building Trust as a Leader

  • Bloc 17 Marble Street Manchester, England, M2 3AW United Kingdom (map)

Building trusted relationships in business has never been more important. The old command and control approach to leading teams and organisations is no longer fit for purpose. With this, trustworthiness is the new currency of what makes for outstanding leadership and is the new differentiator for what makes for highly effective teams.

In working with customers, partners and stakeholders building trusted relationships has become even more vital. Building a trusted brand has become non-negotiable for building a reputation that creates credibility and loyalty.

And have you ever taken a moment to consider, in your business life:

How trustworthy am I?

As Stephen Covey said: “Trust is the glue of life. It’s the most essential ingredient in effective communication. It’s the foundational principle that holds all relationships.”

In this session, Leadership Coach Laurence Knott will help you identity the opportunities for increasing your trustworthiness whilst look at those relationships where you want to increase or repair the level of trust. We will explore the different models and approaches to building trust focused on the Trusted Executive formula:

Trustworthiness = Ability x Integrity x Benevolence

You will leave with practical strategies for building greater trust in your personal, team and business relationships and a new way of seeing trust as a lever for increasing your success.
